Speaker Bio
Captain Zarir Irani is a distinguished maritime professional and entrepreneur with over 36 years of experience in the maritime and yachting industry. A qualified Master Mariner, he is the Founder and Chair of Constellation Marine Services LLC, a leading marine surveying and consultancy firm based in the UAE.
Over the course of his career, Capt. Irani has overseen more than 32,000 global claim consultancy assignments, earning a strong reputation in marine surveying, claims consultancy and maritime advisory services.
He currently serves as the Deputy Registrar of the Antigua and Barbuda Maritime Registry, Ambassador of the Baltic Expert Witness Association (B.E.W.A.) for the Middle East and is an Honorary Fellow and Board Member of the International Institute of Marine Surveying (IIMS). He is also a Fellow of The Nautical Institute and serves as the UAE Branch Chairman.
A recognized industry thought leader, Capt. Irani has been invited twice as a TEDx Speaker, including a presentation on “Ethics in the Maritime Industry.”
